WAFA may be obtained prior to Alaska Heliskiing Guide School course and if certificate is current, the price of WAFA will be deducted from the total cost of guide school and the WAFA portion of the corse can be omitted.

There are two extra days provided for helicopter skiing beyond the classroom schedule. Actual course dates are not set in stone and you may find yourself skipping classes on a sunny day to go heliskiing instead! The two extra days are there to make up for missed class days due to fantastic weather and snow conditions! We will try to get you into the helicopter as often as possible to blow off some steam and clear the mind for more learning.

Group Lodging is available near the heli-pad for $30/night for guide trainees. Meals are not included but you will be provided with a facility for cooking. There is restuarant within 10 miles of the training center And a convenience store within walking distance. A grocery store and other restuarants are in town which is 26 miles away.

Course fees less the amount of your $500 deposit are due upon your arrival. Payment for lodging is also due upon arrival.
